In fact, the 20-foot booth, exhibits and staff so impressed attendees that they voted overwhelmingly to bestow the coveted Gold Award for Exhibitor Excellence upon Flomerics. This recognized the company's superior effort to make the SEMI-THERM exhibition a resounding success.

Selection criteria for the Excellence Award were stringent with votes weighted 50% for the technical content of the exhibit booth, 30% for the technical competence of the booth personnel, and 20% for artistic presentation.

Among the activities conducted during SEMI-THERM, staff members presented a series of live demonstrations which regularly drew attendees into the booth to learn the latest about FLOTHERM, FLO/EDA, FLOPACK and FLO/MCAD.

As an added incentive for attendees to visit the booth, Flomerics held a series of drawings. Two first-prize awards of 30-day trials FLOTHERM, FLO/EDA, FLOPACK and FLO/MCAD (each package valued at more than $2,000). The second prize award - a 3Com Palm Pilot - went to Ron Zhang of Sun Microsystems.

Adding to the impressive image of the booth, the rotating staff of 14 Flomerics sales, marketing and support professionals - headed by Events Manager Rebecca Dixon - uniformly dressed in forest green Flomerics shirts and dark trousers.
